Our most frequently asked question! The best answer is, a Masterpiece Mystery is an unforgettable event. We bring together music, comedy, contests, hilarious situations, and a real cluetrail to be solved to give you the most entertainment we know how to fit into one performance.
Here's how it works. Our actors mingle with your invited guests, welcoming them to the Scenario's function and trying to be civil. Before long it's apparent that the characters have a bone to pick with each other, and soon there's a body lying on the floor!
Throughout the event (we do give you time to eat and visit!) the characters act out scenes to further the plot, break into song at the least provocation, and continually mingle to ensure everyone has a great time. By the end of the event everyone gets a Solution Sheet. There's always a contest (disco dance, Bogey-impersonation, etc depending on the Scenario), and three prizes - for the correct Solution, for the Contest, and for our Post-Show Contest on this website!
That's the basic setup. The beauty of the improv Mystery format is its adaptability - we can arrange a 1-hour quick show or a three-day weekend, on a boat or a five-star resort. Just give us the details, we'll give you the solution!
